HANDS & HEARTS PROJECT

Two years after the community-led emergency response, the Northern Rivers community finds itself in desperate need of assistance to help rebuild on the flood plain.

In the wake of the catastrophic floods of 2022, many vulnerable community members are still living in dire conditions, devoid of stable homes.

It is in this critical moment that the Hands and Hearts Project is on a mission: to rebuild 100 homes & beyond as long as it takes.

48 HOMES COMPLETE 52 & MORE TO GO

A partnership with the Mick Fanning Charity Golf Day and soon to be release feature documentary Washed Away helps fund building materials and trades to help rebuild.

WASHED AWAY FILM WITH HANDS & HEARTS PROJECT

Washed Away is a 73 minute feature documentary celebrating the untold stories that celebrate the Northern Rivers community, who showed true Aussie spirit during the 2022 floods.

It shares the story of 3 time world champion surfer Mick Fanning, Rotorwing Helicopter Pilot Michael Barnes and other local heroes in an effort to raise the awareness of the impact and celebrate the efforts of ordinary heroes.

When the film launches in September it will be available as a fundraising pay per view streaming service. With 50% of profit funding the Hands & Hearts Project with MRNC.

All money received by the project will be spent on trades and materials to help get people home in the region.
