The Mid Richmond Neighbourhood Centre provide a range of services targeted at the needs of our community members who are aged 65+ and 50+ for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, our aim is to provide services so that you can remain independent and in your own home for as long as possible.

Aged Care - Community Home Support

If you’re a new client to the Mid Richmond Neighbourhood Centres – Community Home Support Program,  you will need to register with My Aged Care please Phone: 1800 200 422 or Visit:  www.myagedcare.gov.au and ask to be referred to: The Mid Richmond Neighbourhood Centre.

All our clients are required to undergo an assessment this helps us provide services to you that best suits your needs, If you are new to our service please register with my aged care and ask to be referred to: The Mid Richmond Neighbourhood Centre. We offer a range of services to assist you:
  • Aged Care – Community Home Support (outlined above)
  • Domestic Assistance – supporting people to live independently
  • Meals – delivered or Meal Prep in home with a Support Worker
  • Social Support- Assist with shopping and connecting to community through groups
  • Transports- assisting people to get to appointments
  • Respite – assisting carers to access support with family
  • Home Maintenance- Assisting people to maintain their homes
  • Home Modifications and Assistive Technology –grab rails and other ways to keep people safe in their homes

  • Monday – Strides mobility and exercise group
  • Tuesday – Men’s Group
  • Wednesday – Social Circle
  • Friday – Bus Group
